By downloading or using Sip Happens, you agree to these terms.
About Sip Happens
Sip Happens is a hydration habit companion designed to help children build positive routines through a friendly Buddy experience.
Not Medical Advice
Sip Happens is not intended to provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Hydration goals, reminders and progress indicators are provided for habit-building purposes only.
Parents and guardians remain responsible for decisions relating to a child's health and wellbeing.
Parent Responsibility
Parents and guardians are responsible for:
- Determining whether Sip Happens is appropriate for their child
- Configuring goals and reminders
- Supervising app usage where appropriate
- Seeking professional medical advice when required
Apple Watch and Notifications
Sip Happens may use Apple Watch and local notifications to provide reminders and hydration logging features.
Notification timing and delivery cannot be guaranteed and should not be relied upon for medical or safety-critical purposes.
Family+
Family+ is an optional subscription that unlocks additional child profiles and household management features.
Family+ subscriptions are billed and managed through Apple.
If a Family+ subscription expires:
- Existing child data is retained
- Additional Family+ features may become unavailable
- Restoring the subscription restores access
Purchases and Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple.
Refund requests must be directed to Apple in accordance with Apple's policies.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Misuse the app
- Interfere with its operation
- Attempt to reverse engineer the software
- Use the app in violation of applicable laws
Availability
Sip Happens is provided on an “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every device configuration.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sip Happens and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the app.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the app following changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
